Figure: A possible model of the organization of science, spirituality, and knowledge. Science and spirituality are juxtaposed with a 'grey' semipermeable barrier between them.Whereas, knowledge is inclusive of science and spirituality.
Knowledge is attained when a person has imbibed both science and spirituality. Spirituality extends the border of science. Where science ends spirituality begins. Science and spirituality are both extensions of each other. It is my opinion that science cannot exist without spirituality and spirituality cannot exist without science. However, the grey area lies as to where science ends and spirituality begins? Or is it intertwined? No, it is not intertwined. Knowledge is the holistic presence of science and spirituality. A person has attained knowledge when he has mastered both science and spirituality.
